You can make a very simple portable hot shower for any vehicle , using a 'motoraide' HW heater / heat exchanger, and a 12vdc pump / shower head / hose.

My 50 mpg Passat wagons with 1200 mile range serve well for long haul trips min RV with sleeping space. Just use Quick connects and take your hot water / shower along with any vehicle.

Our cats protect the dog food container, (from possums, coons / stray pets) so we can leave supplies out for a month. (Cats can operate 'food-on-demand', Dog is not so inclined). Neighbor's check once / week. But now we have roomies in a seperate living area. (Handy for snow removal, mowing, plants and livestock). Traveling in NA thus yr, so come home frequently. Usually a few days / month)

Our Farm dogs have always been choc Labs. As with most Labs, they do the morning reconnaissance of the entire neighborhood / several friends. So if something is amiss, they will be missed and attended to.

Disclaimer.... dog does not go RVing in the Class B, pretty keen on staying home and earning his keep. (Not allowing tax assessor access)

I would recommend checking out Sportsmobile. They have locations in Indiana, California and Texas, and they can customize almost any vehicle into a unit to meet almost any need. They also sell pre-owned vehicles. We have seen quite a few here in the Austin area and the owners seem very pleased with their units. Who is Sportsmobile - Sportsmobile Custom Camper Vans
