Even though I'm getting older (early 60's), I love being in the outdoors.
I did buy a small older used Casita travel trailer a couple years ago to use after sleeping in a tent in 30 degree weather during hunting season.
I didn't enjoy getting up before light into a freezing 2-man tent while others where is a toasty travel trailer or camper.
That said, I there's something special about old school camping.

All great responses and very informative.
I still like my coleman whitegas products; something nostalgic about camping with them and I can depend on them in times of emergency.
No denying the comfort and convenience of glamping in a camper esp in inclimate weather that said, I will keep my 2-man tent as enjoy traditional camping and waking up in a tent; also there are places campers can't go.

Getting older and the ground is getting harder.

My family camps in a travel trailer but we use a Coleman stove, lantern, and barbecue. All of them are propane but we don't use the little bottles. We use a 5 gallon propane tank with a distribution pole and hoses to all the appliances.

The trailer is for sleeping. Cooking is mostly over the campfire and we sit outside if we aren't hiking or fishing.

Trailer with beds and heat is mighty nice. Especially when we are camping in the snow.

Propane is a lot easier to use than the white gas with all the pumping and pressurizing required to use those old Coleman stoves.
