Thank you for the kind words. My campsite is pretty secluded and just peaceful, quiet and beautiful. The great thing it only takes me 20 minutes to drive there.

Very nice. My mother in law lives in Estes Park. Used to hit the backcountry every now and again and also drive over to Grandby. Gorgeous area.

About 500 miles east of me, I'm in the San Juan range on the western slope.

Default Quintal Lake Glacier NP

Farthest north lake in Glacier NP. Stunningly beautiful, clear glacial lake. Not crowded at all. My son and I took the Jeep Cherokee, hit the narrow road 15 miles from Polebridge MT to the campground. Hiked 6-7 miles along the shore line.

The family (4 of us) at Talley Lake NW of Whitefish MT. Deepest lake in Montana at 445 ft maximum depth. Naturally warm due to the tannin stain in the water.

The old truck camper in woods..

We have a trip planned to Glacier towards the end of August. Looking forward to it.

If you can try to get to Polebridge and go up to Bowman Lake, and if your vehicle is capable take the hour drive farther north to Kintla. Just gorgeous country.

I just noticed my original post- I have no idea why my computer changed the name of Kintla to 'Quintal', lol. It's Lake Kintla!

Threerun, that is an excellent idea. The plan was to take my car. Perhaps a rethinking is in order.
