Happy Holidays to all our happy camper friends all across the Nation. And may the New Year bring you all safe travels and shady camp sites with no mosquitoes to be seen, felt or heard.

Thank you EB! I would also like to send out a Merry Christmas (or other holiday of your choice) greeting to one and all, and best wishes for the new year.

I hope everyone had a great Christmas....we spent it tent-camping in the desert...we weren't moving the 5th wheel as my receiver for the internet is on it and I just knew it would move...It got a little cold at night, but a good trip

Your always welcome to join us. Just bring your own outdoor heater. Mine will be pointed at my back and I will be sitting facing the fire. I do like to be " comfortable".

I would love to, but I'd never get the better half out of the camper I'm afraid.

Besides, I'm more of a fare weather camper, although I have gone camping during some bad raining weekends :~)

Hi! I just discovered this forum, but have been on C-D for a few years now. My kids are 4 and 6 and are finally old enough to take some really fun camping trips!

Our school is on a track system, so we have breaks in April and October. Were would you camp at that time of the year? We tent camp, but are thinking of renting or buying a tent trailer. We live in the Denver area, and so far have found it challenging to camp at those times of the year. Our summer break is only 4 weeks, so we are limited. TIA

Head south into the White Mountains or the Rim Country of northern Arizona.

I'm biased though. That's my favorite area of the country

my fiance and i have travelled throughout the eastern us......from florida to wisconsin, new york to texas....and instead of stopping at a hotel along the way, we have managed to find awesome, cheap campsites (mostly state parks) in every state....most are less than 20 mins off the interstate!! I can honestly say that every park.....indiana or mississippi or georgia are unique and special in their own way. This might be kinda random, but if you are ever in the Tampa Bay area, one MUST camp at FORT DESOTO..... its actually a Pinellas county park, but it is a beautiful barrier island out in the gulf of mexico, right off the st. pete coast.....AWESOME!!!........also, if you ever find yourself in Texas, you have to camp along the Guadalupe river in the summertime!!!
