Not me this year. To much to do at home so we can go the first sign of cooler weather.

I haven't decided yet, but I'm thinking about spending one night in the western Sierra Nevada, somewhere near Shaver Lake (CA). I'll be in that area Sunday, and could spend the night, then come home on Monday if I decide to. Otherwise, I'll just come back home on Sunday.

I stay off the roads on Memorial Day and Labor Day.
Too many drinking and driving idiots out there!

The holiday traffic in southern California is bad when leaving the L.A. region on Friday night, and again upon returning on Monday night. Travel most other times isn't too bad, or at least isn't much worse than normal.

I'm with you on that one. Way to many drunks or the ones just getting over a three day hangover on the roads for my taste. I'll just stay at home .

I would love to be camping right now but I have to work through the holiday, this year has really sucked as far as camping has gone, just no time to go, the campgrounds are full around here.

My husband and I are camping in northern NH on National Forest land. No campgrounds for us, we like the peace and quiet.

The camping gets good only after Labor Day! Kids all in school and campgrounds are peaceful and quiet again!
