As others have said, this time of year there is little interest in RVs. I think you will really have to think outside the box to sell it this time of year. You might try offering to pay for storage for the winter.

I bought mine on ebay in June. One big attraction for me was they were willing to deliver to my location for the cost of gas. I wanted a unit that could be used for a seasonal escape. Towing wasn't on my list of priorities. Perhaps you could throw that into your next ad?

We bought ours from a dealer in June. It was a trade=in and priced $20K below blue book. Although it was immaculate, hardly used, the dealer fixed every little thing (ex: new clock in kitchen). The dealers were having unbelievable sales on new ones and had a lot of trade-ins. We met a couple on a trip who bought their RV on ebay, which was several states away from them.

The problem is probably the economy, time of the year and large amount of RVs on the market. Have you tried some of the RV sites? rv.net?

I jsut put it on rv trader this week. Of course timing is everything ; dh didnt want to sell it, I did. Now he sees the error of his way ; and the possibility that we will hold onto it until the spring. We did have it on e-bay and craigslist.

Maybe I will be back here in the spring looking for fresh ideas.

thanks

We have a 2005, 34 foot Bounder RV with only about 1300 miles on it. We just dont use it anymore and dont know what to do with it. We are in Florida. Is this RV trader or something like it in Florida? It sure would be nice to get it sold, like the OP, the ads in the grocery store just dont do anything.
