Default Tent Camping/Best Campgrounds in Central Florida area

We're a family of 4 and planning to do some tent camping during Easter vacation. Which kids-friendly campgrounds can you suggest that offer privacy between campsites, nice & clean, with kids activities and lush preservations/landscaping and really beautiful trails?

We've been to Anastasia State Park in St Augustine, but the campsites are way too close to each other.

Thanks for all your suggestions.

I would suggest Juniper Springs in Ocala. The park is clean and you'll be able to take your family on the 3 or so hour canoe trip down the spring fed creek... it is absolutely beautiful.

Is Juniper better than Silver Springs or Alexander Springs for tent camping with family?

Imo better than Alexander, yes... can't comment on Silver Springs though, never camped there.

Are the campsites more spread out at Juniper, with fire rings?
What other activities?

How deep is the water there? Any alligators? afraid to flip in the water with alligators swimming around. Advise please.
Also, what about campsites? are they spread out enough for privacy in Juniper Springs?

The water is usually 1-2 feet deep and is very clean and clear as you saw. The person in the back is the only one who really needs to paddle, just to steer.... you are going with the current. You might get lucky and see a small gator, larger gators prefer deeper water. Don't worry about gators lol!! Its not like you will be alone out there, there will be other people canoeing down too...

Campsites are spread around and usually have foliage between them for privacy, just find one you like, ride around the campsites. This is a very clean park as you'll see.....
