I have a niece who works part time as a pharmacist in northern Ontario, she told me she earns $60.00 an hour if I remember correctly.

Jobfuture.ca provides very unreliable data. Ie. if you search for physician you'll find that they make 24$ on average.

From what I know, retail pharmacists make about 45-55$ an hour in southern Ontario.

I said in my post above that my niece told me she makes $60.00 an hour, I'm guessing she is being truthful considering she works in an isolated location. Here are the salaries for pharmacists in Ottawa in 2007.
Salaries and Wages for Pharmacists Jobs in Canada | Canadian Pharmacists Salary Guide

------------------------Low ----Average --- High
Ottawa - Ontario > $37.00 -- $46.00 ---$55.00

Canadian Pharmacists make TOP DOLLAR. There's so many vacancies in Canada and YOU WILL get a job right out of upgrading your degree or University because there is a huge shortage of Pharmacists. I'm recruiter and trust me finding qualified candidates is super hard. If you need help reply to my post.
