Canada has too much government. Way too much political correctness. Too many rules. And too many taxes

Piece of advice.....MOVE!!!

Freezing cold everywhere????? It's in the high 60's to low 70's (Farenheit for my American friends) here. I've been golfing since the first week of April.

The gov't takes 50% of your salary?????? Two letters.... B.S.!!! I'm in the top 10% earners in Canada, and my provincial and federal income tax taken off is about 33%. And I always get a big chuck of that back come tax time.

Political correctness is worse in the States in my humble opinion.

As far as Mr. Harper, he's a bit of a wimp, but he will speak his mind.

I love visiting the States, but will always take Canada.

I really like Canada but if forced to choose one or the other, I'd have to take the US, because of the diversity of the economy and climate. In the US, I could always move to a place that suits my political and personal tastes. Canada seems so much more monolithic to me.

Sure, i would also be golfing that early if i had 10 layers of clothing on to fend of the cold.

I dont know how long you have been living in canada but maybe you have developed some resistance to the freezing cold because its crazy to be golfing that early.

I'm not sure if you looked at the calendar, but its May 9th. Its currently 65 F right now at 5:30 pm. Was just outside playing with my daughter in shorts. Not saying its hot, but 10 layers of clothing...please. A few weeks back, we had temps in near 80 F. That's in mid-April my friend. Mind you, there was a few inches of snow on the ground in late March as well.

And I've been living in Canada all my life. Sure its cold in January, just like it is New York, we're just not wimps about it. FORE!!!

Not true. The western provinces, like Alberta, are pretty conservative politically speaking. While the east is more Liberal, with pockets of right wingers. Than just add Quebec. Canada is a lot more diverse than you think.

Just to clue you in. The majority of Canadians, over 70%, our English. Most of the 7 million speaking french are in Quebec, and there is a BIG difference between a Frenchman from France, than a FrenchCanadian from Quebec or otherwise.

And describe "everything"

Yes and that was only one week of april were temperatures were good. The week after temperatures went down to almost freezing and only now is it starting to warm up a little. Not to mention that the week before that it was also freezing cold. Im not sure what your trying to prove here but you have to admit that temperatures in this country suck.
