My wife and I are looking into moving from Southern Ontario to Moncton, New Brunswick

My wife has work experience in administrative and customer service and she should be ok with finding work, but I have always worked in manufacturing...

How difficult will it be for me to find work?

What manufacturing companies are in the Moncton area?

Not a problem, I believe New Brunswick is my favorite Province. We spend a great deal of time there. When you and your wife get to Moncton, take a Sunday ride over to Alma, a piece of heaven on earth. You can buy lobster's right off the boat.

1) For starters... REAL ESTATES PRICES are half of what they are here in Ontario!

2) My family is from Prince Edward Island and my wife is from Quebec, so it's works for us both.

3) Our kids all grown up and moved out so my wife and I feel it would be a nice place to start our semi retirement (wink wink). We feel we could be close to being mortgage free, if not completely mortgage free.

Moncton seems like a perfect choice for those reasons then.

Default Mortgage Jobs in Moncton New Brunswick

Hi

Would also be very grateful if anyone can advise us.

We are British Citizens, currently residing in Southern Spain, have been trying to make a move to Canada since 2008, as to date without success, even hired a recruiter in Vancouver.

My wife has 13 years in banking / mortgage industry, has all UK mortgage qualifications, works now for Barclays bank in Gibraltar as a Mortgage specialist.

The problem is with been a foreigner, we need a company to sponsor us, and to do the LMO (Labour Market Option), and to provide a basic for Immigration requirements of $35,000.

Currently all banks, brokers and real estate will not do the LMO, never mind offering a basic salary for the required amount, a few companies will offer one of the two, however not sounding greedy but we need both for Canadian Immigrations, even with my wife experience, she has done Mortgage Admin, processing and some underwriting.

Ideally we would be interested in Moncton for the better cost of living and real estate prices, however all provinces will be considered, except the French provinces, due to us not speaking French it would be impossible for us to be granted a legal working visa.

Thanks

Anthony

I'm from New Brunswick... I think I should mention that New Brunswick is 33% French-speaking due to the Acadian population, many of whom live in the Moncton area. (-: NB is officially a bilingual province, meaning all government services are provided in both French and English.

Although Moncton is still a majority English-speaking city...
