Canadian women: better to date than American women?
Another ridiculous generalisation...
but have you noticed much difference between the two, especially when it comes to dating?
Are Canadian women less superficial/materialistic, image-conscious, more likely to date across 'class' and race boundaries, more likely to pursue a relationship based on love/mental compatibility? Or are they pretty much like American women? Do they say resemble Northeastern women or say Midwestern women most of all? Does it vary by region?

considering the bad manners, high maintenance factors and massive divorce filings & asset grabs, most anyone outside USA will look very very good. biggest promoter of gay marriage is current american female conduct. ok ok that was a bit too mean, but really i mean how bout just basic manners, the worst gals in quebec were better. too many here are just howeling monkeys (woo hoo!!!) in a 2 piece.

In my experience Canadian girls are not THAT different from American girls, but they may be a bit more reserved maybe.

I found the girls up there generally seemed more attractive for some reason. I guess they're less overweight maybe?

I dated a Canadian woman for a bit. You all will kill me for saying this, but she was exceptionally polite and a bit reserved.
In truth, I think the individual personality is 95% of it, with nationality not even likely to register.

i'd think there would be actually more (or at least as much) difference in many ways between a Southern girl and a Northern US girl, than would be between a Canadian and a Northern US gal (or guy)- if you leave political background out of it.
I've dated a Cdn guy and he wasnt too different from the types of guys you meet in Seattle or CA, it boils down to the character more than the nationality in this comparison- now, if he was Australian or British, (or even a Southerner) yes there would be more of a difference I'd think
Who has seen the "Bachelor" on ABC (which I follow) and have noticed each series usually has a couple Canadian gals thrown in the mix? Either the ratings are high in Canada, the casting recruiters include some Canadians, or they simply just do not consider Canadian gals that different (to be included in a US reality series, the only one I know of, of a US reality series that has contestants from outside the US)

I hate to admit but I watch that stupid show, and yeah Canadians have become like the token contestant on these shows recently...Gillian (bachelorette) was Canadian as well. And they had a few guys on the shows over the last few years who were Canadian and the funniest thing about them?...they were total A$$holes. I wondered if it was a PR stunt to show Canadian people have some edge...lol. This year they included a British girl, (she lives in Arizona), she was kicked out the first day

Why are you asking for comparisons between Canadian and American women? Is it just because of the two countries close proximity to each other?
What are Australian women like? (You are in Australia, yes??) Are they independent, polite, well educated, literate, resourceful, courageous, responsible, attractive, physically fit, compassionate, socially and environmentally conscious? Are they good mothers, wives and homemakers with high self-esteem? Are they actively involved with their communities? Do they like dancing, singing and having fun?
As a generalisation most of the ordinary Canadian women I know are like that. Would you consider those to all be good qualities that a man would seek in women to date?

point is, this show is unlikely to have (never has had) a foreign contestant straight from Latin America or Asia or Australia or Europe (except for the British girl who moved to AZ), so to them, they do not consider throwing in a few Canadians consistently as being too "culturally-different" to be a mismatch for the bachelor(erette)
