Forget Ottawa; it is just TOO cold and too boring; TORONTO is too concret of a city with too many western and European immigrants; too cruel; too thick energy. . . so IF you really want a blend of CALIFORNIA living mixed with ASIAN spirit you must come to VANCOUVER; we are filled with mountians and ocean, seagulls and salt breeze air (FRESH each day!) with loads of bike paths, beaches, views, sailing, water sports, seawall walks, doggie paths, out door cafe's and just loads of outdoor activities; like a rural area in a city! Loads of trees, loads of sun, loads of beachs and loads of rain! Fun and relaxed living with great mini restraunts everywhere; the CHEF industry is great as we are loaded with TOURISTS; just look around or start your own cusine! You will never look back if you choose Vancouver; also spiritual city; lots of LIGHT energy here. . . google map LIONS GATE BRIDGE and walk with the man to see both sides fo the bridge. . . one being down town and the other being the Nroth Shore. . . check out the beaches on the MOUNTAIN SIDE of the bridge. . . that's WEST VANCOUVER, lowest crime rate in the world; california living on the ocean; and great restaurants with just a great place to live in CANADA; right on the PACFIC OCEAN right out your front door. . . you will love it love it love it. . . rate this 1000 and Toronto a 5, Ottawa a 1. Why freeze your butt in Ottawa when you can sun bath on the ocean in January? OK, in January you may just sun bath with light clothes on (not bathin suit) but my pont is we are mild temp's here (like 40F or 50F in the winter; 10C). This is the hip city of the world; google map and take the little google man and walk the streets; zoom in and out; start with the LIONS GATE BRIDGE and the North Shore is West Vancuver and North Vancouver living that is close to down town yet rural feeling (so to speak). . . you are in themountains to sky night or day and then on the ocean on the beech the same day (your choice!). . . great way to choose your day!

North and West Vancuver has the lowest crime rate in the entire world! North Vancouver is great for kids, schools and family for middle class; it is like the city that never became a city; still clean fesh and innocent. . . the kids are safe and the schools are safe and the living is safe and affordable. . . like suberia yet you are in a city (doesn't feel like it) and you are close to down town BUSINESS if you want the HOTEL industry for chef job (just one sea bus trip away; 3 minutes!). . . West Vancouver is more expensive but close enough to visit or work in the many expensive restaurants there. . . you will love the North Shore of Vancouver. . . we are spiritual and ferries live in our gardens!
