The judge didn't say that forcing women into prostitution is legal, but that working as an agent for them in return for a portion of the profit is, which it should be.

I think you need to pay closer attention to what's going on.

Prostitution in Canada is NOT illegal. It is already legal, it has been legal for years.

Solicitation is illegal. Pimping, not prostitution, pimping - is living off the avails of prostitution, and pimping is illegal. And to date, brothels have been illegal.

The prostitutes want brothels to be made legal so they can get off the streets, not have to do any solicitation, and get rid of the pimps.

The prostitutes want to work employed in a safe, legal place (a brothel) where they are legally employed by the brothel (the legal employer who gives them a regular pay cheque after deduction of taxes and CPP contributions) without soliciting and without pimps and where they can legally hire legally employed body guards to protect the legal brothel and the (already) legal sex workers.

It should have been a done deal decades ago and they should have been unionized by now.

As far as Trudeau goes, I can say without a doubt it was his irresponsible government that began the Canadian tradition of running up government debts to pay for social programs that generally benefit those who pay the least for them. Personally, I think he was an idiot.

Trudeau also enacted the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms which has more or less usurped the power of elected government and placed the powers of defining Canadian laws and social policies in the hands of the liberal judges of the Supreme Court of Canada. Just recently, they ruled that running a Common Bawdy House and Living off the Avails of Prostitution (i.e. "pimping") to be legal avenues of enterprise. Nice legacy you left us, Pierre!

y u no support free enterprise?!
