Default Health Supplements in Canada

Does anyone know if they have any prohibitions at all with selling health supplements/vitamins in Canada? Do they have the same types of health food stores etc as u.s.?

I'm sure there are some guidelines for what can be sold in health stores, but they must be fairly liberal judging by the amount of vitamins and herb supplements available.

Most towns of any size, (10,000 +), have at least one store dedicated to "natural medicine", and the shelves of major pharmacies are loaded with various supplements.

I ask because when I worked in a vitamin store here there were so many people visiting from countries such as England that had to buy their vitamins here because supposedly much of that was not sold in their country. And if I ever ended up living in Canada I wanted to make sure I could get my supplements

Don't worry. You'll be able to buy enough pills to make a fat man rattle when he walks.
