Close- it's on that chain of lakes- there is Musselmans - then that very deep pond we used to call "Dead man's lake...actually Haines Lake...then St-George Lake...we called it Snively's lake--spent a dozen summer hanging out their fishing...it is also small and very deep---then across the field and road was my house- On Lake Wilcox..We had a nine bedroom house on that lake for 42 years..that was my childhood home- the back yard was large and on the lake...

Then of course there was Bond lake a little south and to the west- These lakes were all connected by underground streams- It was said if someone drowned in Lake Wilcox the body would pop up in Bond lake.

The great shame is when Lake Wilcox was taken over by the town of Richmond Hill- They complained that septic tanks were leaking into the lake- so they dug this huge gravel filled trench around the lake to lay a sewer line... What happened was that the natural flow of the springs stopped and the lake died...No one understood these great kettle lakes that were around for 12000 years- It was the purest underground supply of water in the world- and they ruined it.
