And yet you seem to be perfectly happy to embrace made-up nonsense from the left as long as it flatters your preconceived notions of what you believe to be true or sensible. When you move up to Canada, you should join the NDP right away. They will love you.

^ Enough with the arguing. Canada is a beautiful country. I have yet to meet one American personally that has not liked it here. Just because you aren't fond of certain aspects of the country doesn't mean you should go bashing it. Canada has much to offer, and while very different than the US, it's still a great nation.

I believe Canada is one of the best nation's to live in the world. Which is ironic being close to the U.S. Which I find one of the worst nation's to live in the world.

Canada? High taxes on everything including income food tax and clothing., extreme cold winters, great place if your rich, want to live a life of crime many slaps on the wrist. no death penalty no matter who you kill. great for drug pushers, pimps rapists pedophiles child molesters. great for welfare if your from caribbean middle east and africa your covered, highest taxes in the world next to britain. also named the most corrupt country in the world.
Canada was great in the 70s and 80s downhill ever since the floodgates of lazy high maintenance immigrants opened up. 6 hour waits in hospitals not uncommon.

Id rather have high taxes in warm weather than cold weather. the only thing that scares me in usa is the gun laws and the police state mentality there ever since 911

As Vinny stated, Canada is a country of immigrants....and it has one or two xenophobes as well.

...most Canadians are okay with immigration though.

I must withdraw my immigration application immediately before I go live in this "hellhole" called Canada! ()

You really should get out more, it's unhealthy to be that ignorant.

Yeah because american's pay almost no taxes, have no issues with crime, and once you cross the border the weather instantly rises 20 degrees.

Well I was exaggerating and it's obviously not worse than those countries. But still, I'd much rather live in a pure communist/socialist country than a super corrupted capitalist country like the U.S. anyday.

And sorry, I have a slight feeling my post will be deleted and it will cause problems because it's offensive or off topic. I did not mean for this honestly. I am just explaining my opinion but I will talk about why Canada is a great nation for now on.
