Canada v. United States v. Latin America (condo, military)

I know the United States and Canada have been at odds over Cuba, especially when Trudeau was in power. What about other parts of Latin America? Did Canada try to reform or undermine dictatorial regimes supported by the United States, say in Chile or Guatemala?

I know that Canada wasn't too pleased when the United States invaded Grenada in 1983. The Commonwealth Nations (of which Canada is a part) condemned the invasion I do believe.

I also believe that Canada wasn't very supportive of the United States' actions in Nicaragua.

I don't know if Canada's displeasure took any active form other than a verbal 'we don't like it,' if you know what I mean.

I am not that familiar with the issues, but from memory I cannot recall any Canadian participation in military interventions anywhere in the Americas. So what the U.S. has done in this part of the world has always been without Canada's (military) support.

I know that. My question dealt with what, if anything, did Canada do to keep opposition to those dictatorships going, particularly the dictatorships propped up by the United States. In other words, where did Canada work behind the scenes to undermine the United States?

I wonder, since the US has invaded so many countries in the past years, how come the international community never condomned it as a "rogue country?? that's what a rogue country means, right?

I think it's because the globalists have hijacked America's military to use it for their own purposes.

It was the cold war, special interest groups ran a muck in that time period, and canadians were too content, being the northern hat(helmet) against the russians.

I`m not a conspiracy theorist, but during the cold war, the fact that hidden government ran a muck is well documented, at least relative to its secrecy. Being a generation plus, since the ussr was a major threat, people forget, but it wasn`t paranoia, these two states were directly opposed to each other between, 45-65, and in a milder form until about 85.
