I think if you don't mind living with roomies Vancouver is great, otherwise, Toronto is a wonderful city I think you will love it if you love Vancouver though it doesn't have quite as many of the natural amenities.
The biggest job market is in Calgary, so move there if that's whats most important to you. But if the gay scene is more important, I would avoid Calgary at all costs because it's one of the most conservative cities in Canada. Do not move to Vancouver unless you plan on renting and have a very high salary because it is very expensive there. Toronto and Montreal are very liberal (Especially Montreal) and Toronto is very multicultural. I wouldn't move to Montreal unless you plan on learning French because you will need it there to live. I would say for you, Toronto or Montreal.
The job market is decent in Winnipeg in relation to it's size. Of course bigger cities will have more jobs but it's still great. Winnipeg has a lot of Blue Collar jobs.
