It could be argued that this is not Canada specific but I thought I would post here.
In this forum we get a fair number of "xxx is different than the US" threads so I thought I'd post this funny list to show it's not unique to Canada

#9 gets my vote.

Who the hell needs an egg slicer when travelling? More important, who the hell needs an egg slicer at all?

And the classic "why doesn't everyone speak English" complaint. always fun to read.

For some of those, the wording has changed since it (I believe) originally appeared in 2011, and my favorite was also left out, making it go from "20 complaints" to "19 complaints":

Quote:
5. A tourist at a top African Game Lodge over looking a water hole, who spotted a visibly aroused elephant, complained that the sight of this rampant beast ruined his honeymoon by making him feel "inadequate".

They're really handy if you like hard-boiled egg sandwiches. It slices the egg evenly and quickly.

I can slice a hard-boiled egg evenly and quickly without one, but then, I'm a girl.

(It's an EGG, not a butternut squash.)

I've been asked all sort of strange questions when I worked in a job that came into contact with a lot of tourists.
Were were in the middle of the Rocky Mountains on our way to Banff and a woman wanted to know " if those were mountains of rock or mountains of sand?" I told her " well, they're not called The Sandies ".
