Dear Folks,

I am planning to move to Canada sometime during August from India .I recently got visa for PR for Canada. I am into healthcare industry and into clinical research.I don't know if I can get the job immediately, however I even don't know about the places and feasible places to stay/reside until I get a job.I feel I am taking a risk.

Please clarify me on following points:
1) Where do you think is affordable place to live and can you please tell me better places for clinical research jobs?
2) I heard that moving to Canada during winter is waste as there is scarcity of jobs during winter. Is it true?
3)How about the room charges?

My visa expires in Feb 2013.Hence I have to relocate before that. Please guide me.

Could you help me with your valuable advises...

Thanks

You can look for jobs in the many search engines designed for that purpose as an example =
Find Jobs. Build a Better Career. Find Your Calling. | Monster.ca

For jobs and apartments Craigslist is a useful site, this one is for Montreal but the city can be changed.=
craigslist: montreal classifieds for jobs, apartments, personals, for sale, services, community, and events

I doubt the type of jobs you are looking for have good or bad seasons for when they are available..
As for places to live? well if i were coming to Canada i'd move to a city with good public transport as i wouldnt have a car and i'd like it to have a large Indian population for networking potential=Toronto

Little India Toronto !

I have never heard that there is a shortage of jobs in the healthcare field in Canada during the winter. Life and death go on, no matter the season.
