So canadian winter is coming it would seem fitting to have a thread on the cold.
After doing some looking up I found an interesting and useful statistic on the cold in canada.
Which is the number of days when the wind chill reaches below a certain threshold.
I checked for st johns and it says we have 5-6 days per year below minus 20, hardly cold at least according to occupational health and safety.
My home town in the province has 27 .
Toronto apparently has zero
So whats yours.
I find this very difficult to believe. I monitor weather reports from across the country and I am certain there are at least a few days during the winter where the wind chill gets below -20 there. Not tons, but at least a couple a winter for sure.

I'm not sure I looked it up a couple of days ago to be honest.
The worst wind chill I ever experienced in Canada was in Ottawa. I tried to pull up the windchill stats for Ottawa but it comes up as "data unavailable for this station".
