A lot, if not most, of the cheesy stuff on the ScyFy channel are filmed in Canada.

Wouldn't it be nice to have a complete box set of remastered episodes of The Trouble With Tracy, complete with cast interviews and blooper reel?

Favorite terrible Canadian movie: Strange Brew (1983).

Terrible TV: Danger Bay (CBC, 1984-90).

The show itself was the blooper reel!

I never watched it, the commercials were bad enough. I don't understand people who take pride in their shallowness.
One of them is a friend of a friend….never met her. Another friend has served some of them at a local fancy shop, he says one of them comes across as nice and pretty genuine, the others…barf is right.

The shows I caught were quite funny. It's great deadpan humour.

Not really any different than something like WKRP in Cincinnati, which was filmed in Hollywood (not Cincinnati); or Northern Exposure, which was filmed in Washington state (not Alaska).
I had never heard of that show, so I watched one clip on Youtube. Their pacing is off. Comedy truly is an art.

I think I'd rather bang my head repeatedly against a concrete pole.

Does anyone remember the CBC soap opera He Shoots He Scores/Lance et Compte from the late 1980s? Talk about frommage!

The series follows the rise of a rookie hockey player during his first year playing for a Quebec NHL team. It was bascially Dynasty on Ice, with the French episodes featuring sexy-time that was purged in the English versions.

I tried to find a clip on youtube but it appears CBC has eradicated all evidence of this travesty. Too bad, because it was pretty funny (if you like campy humor).
