There would be more of a language barrier here than in Ste-Anne-de-Prescott for sure.

The Ontario side municipality has maybe 20-30% francophones, and the Quebec side municipality has about 10% anglophones. Not sure how they are distributed though: that border hamlet might be mostly francophone or mostly anglophone regardless of which side you are on.
