Alright So How Awesome is this whole currency thing.
now, not only is america cheaper to begin with,
but now we save even more money with our canadian dollars!
i think its time for shopping sprees across the border.

oh, and just to make something clear to americans from the 'Things to know about canada' Thread, we dont have polar bears for pets either.

Re: the things to know about Canada thread...I had to chuckle at something I remembered when we were doing a marathon road trip through Canada up to AK (hated rushing through like that but we were on a time crunch...thankfully we had more time to actually slow down and appreciate the beauty of Canada on the way back.)

Anyway, yes, we DID understand the concept of kilometers and got pretty good at "converting" kilometers to miles when we were trying to figure out how far it was to the next city/town in terms that we were familiar with. Being on the road for that many hours/days can make you a little "loopy" though, and we found ourselves convering population signs into "American", LOL! (Though I guess with our infamous American obesity problem, perhaps 1600 Canadians is about equal to 1000 Americans, ha ha.)

It sucked when we finally got to AK though and we realized that a sign reading ANCHORAGE 350 was ALREADY in miles!
