confused about working permit in canada? (2013, live, to move)

So.. my boyfriend lives in canada and we want to spend the summer together. He has two jobs, and one job is working in a church, which his uncle works at. If i were to go there this summer, he said he wished i could take his church job, so we can be together.

is there a part-time working permit in canada for just two months? which is july-august? i really want to do this.

any ideas? thanks.

BTW im from the US
wish it was just easier to move from canada to us.. its ridiculous.

Are you a student or have you been one in the last few months? If so, you can get a working holiday visa through the organization SWAP.

yes i am a full time student in the US. since the fall of 2013. what is "SWAP"? do you know anything about it personally?
