Hi, hope someone can help me with some info. I currently live in england and have always wanted to move to canada (I've never been but I'm planning a holiday there asap).
If I do move then I want to be somewhere with
distinct seasons
Decent job opportunities (I'm a mental health social worker, partner will be a sports rehab therapist)
Affordable housing (less than 400 k-also needs 4 bedrooms)
Fairly decent schools/uni's
Nice surroundings or easy access to (I prefer mountains, lakes i.e. scotland but on a bigger scale)

So where would people suggest would be good to do some detailed research about. I am hoping that the holiday to canada will be more of a research trip so your input would be very much appreciated

Thanks

The Fraser Valley in British Columbia (Abbotsford-Chilliwack-Mission). Tons of mountains and lakes. I used to volunteer in mental health there and there is a fair bit of work. Big enough population to support her career.

^This is assuming you don't want the winters.

Sometimes, it is hit or miss. A few cm here & there in most winters. Some years not at all.
