Welcome us to Canada
I'm just being curious, if you live in Canada and know about Michigan.
Would you oppose or be for Michigan joining your country?
Please respond, it will help me with my research.
Thanks-

Come on down!
We would welcome Michigan to Canadian Confederation. Please join us, Detroit too! Hey, I'm from Winnipeg, Canada's Detroit. Lots of gangs and guns and poverty, and character.

Thanks for the comments everyone, please countinue to post your oppinion.
Yes you should take Detroit, it's Michigan most populated city. I know Detroit seems to be a town reck to some people... but from what I see and hear the city is being brought out. Its becoming more safe ( As I hear ), also some of the USA top schools is in the metro area of Detroit. ( Well I know at least one school, and its like in with the top 10... one time it was number one.)

I will still check all my replies, but from here on out I will stop posting a thank you comment. You will see fewer of my replies on the same thread to messages, and questions. Due to making new threads, I cannot keep track of each and every message thanking everyone. So thank you everyone who have posted comments and those to come in the future. I look forward to reading you comments but my replies and thank you messages will rarely be seen. (I posted this message due to the fact many people I run into like to see replies from the person who post the thread and see how their comments help the person who posted the thread.)
Thank you-
( Oddly I rarely got replies on this thread, if a moderator so happen to come by this thread and wish to close it, dont think twice to do so. -Best wishes )

As an American and a native Buckeye, I endorse Michigan joining Canada. It would be an upgrade for the CIS, and the Big 10 would be instantly improved by losing that second-rate school in Ann Arbor.

i say no thank you.. the US can keep Detroit, even though I love the Detroit Institute of Art, Cranbrook, Bloomfield/Birmingham, the upper part of the thumb and the UP.
So now.. but if we can pick and chose.. why not eh?

To be honest here a lot of Canadians look at Michigan as a "trailer trash community" Anyone (in my opinion) who says different has not lived in Canada long enough or is not being honest.
