I have no doubt in my mind that this is the case. We're a smaller country in number of people, but we have brought so much beauty to the art of music...

While you would have a point about actors, what Canadian musicians do that? I can only think of a few. Canadian talent is increasingly staying at home.

There is alot of great Musicians from Canada. Nova Scotia (specially Cape Breton Island) is an important region for celtic music. Quebec has a pretty interesting music scene, le folklore quebecois is a pretty cool genre of Music. But I remember reading that Cuba and Puerto Rico are the countries that produces more musicians per capita on earth. I don't know if thats true, but all those islands produce a large amount of talent.

I don't know who you would measure this? All music ? I think you'd have trouble comparing the talent of Mozart with Bryan Adams etc.

I think he is, but I'm still unsure exactly what he's claiming. "The most musically talented country in the world"--what does that mean? What metric do you use to measure musical talent?

Canadians are also the most modest people in the world. Just ask one.
