Immigration and the Crown (moving, dual citizenship, best)

As a Canadian. What country's would your birth give you access to? At least a foot in the door. As a citizen moving. Australia? Any Islands?

It used to be that Commonwealth country citizens had an easier time getting British citizenship, but I don't think that's been the case for decades. I think just about every country makes you jump through a zillion hoops to get citizenship nowadays.

Dual citizenship might be easier to obtain between Canada and some other countries, though.

Citizenship by decent would be the best way to do it if one of your parents were born outside Canada.

You can be dual with anyone that will give you another passport. Canada doesn't require you to renounce your citizenship, and allows its citizens to hold additional citizenships. Doesn't make it any easier to get the second one though...
