EI problem... employer put leave of absence:(
My employer said he had to lay me off. when I recieved my ROE, he had checked off the leave of absence option under reason for dismissal. When I asked him why he did not put shortage of work he said it does not matter because I will still get EI regular benifits with the leave of adsence reason.
Is this true? Will I get regular EI benifits for leave of absence? Did I get scammed by this Employer???
Any imput would greatly be appreciated,
