I just recently got around to watching this movie I alluded to earlier in the thread.

It's a punch-in-the-face type of movie, but very good. Quite powerful but raw.

There's a movie about Saint Kateri Tekakwitha scheduled to released in 2015. It was filmed - in California! Since she was converted to Catholicism by French Jesuits and spent last few years of her life in Quebec, I thought it would be more accurate to film it there. Have there been any religious films made in Quebec?

Is it "In Her Footsteps"? If so, it looks more like a TV movie than a feature film for cinematic release.

Religion is a fairly significant subtext in close to half the movies mentioned on here. Or central to them, like Black Robe, Jésus de Montréal, etc.

This movie was released this spring. My wife wanted to see it but we have not got around to it yet.
