My fiancé and I are getting married September 2015. He's 26 and I'm 30. He resides in Windsor and I reside in the Suburbs of Detroit. We are looking to sell his house and purchase a new one. I am unaware of the areas in Windsor and would like to assure that the house we buy is in a great area (upper class). Our budget is 350k. May you guys please help me out with this. If one of you is familiar with the areas in the suburbs of Detroit....I am looking for something similar to ROCHESTER HILLS or BLOOMFIELD HILLS. Your help is greatly appreciated!

Maybe Russel Woods, just east of Windsor in Lakeshore, or South Windsor, or Lasalle. All these areas are very safe and have many well to do neighbourhoods.

Yep, I agree. Throw South Wood Lakes into there, as well.

How about some neighbourhoods in Amherstburg......IF you're up for a bit of a commute?

And if you want an historic, inner city neighbourhood, close to DT, Old Walkerville is the trendiest and most sought after area in the city. Great turn of the century homes, and a very vibrant commercial section full of great restaurants and boutiques, with a strong sense of community.
