Accepting the existence of something is a key first step towards actually addressing it!

While of course; proof of it's existence, beyond mere supposition, before wasting time and effort addressing a fallacy, wouldn't be prudent at all?

Well, we're coming up on the annual "Canada Day Boastfest of Why Canada is Better than the US", so just open up your eyes and ears over the next two weeks and you'll get plenty of examples of the phenomenon.

Given that the Americans have just had an tragic and unfortunate spate of racial violence, this year should be particularly bountiful.

Quebec can be anxious about its continued existence and this leads to certain behaviours, but unlike Anglo-Canada it doesn't have an issue with defining itself. It definitely knows what it is and doesn't primarily define itself in relation or in opposition to something else.

What do we see on Canada Day other than Canadians celebrating Canada.
I dont profess to speak for all Canadians but i`ve yet to meet an Anglo Canadian who has an inferiority complex about being a Canadian and in some way identifies as American lite, the only source for that line of rationale seems to be coming from the PB train of thought.
AJ as you are mere minutes away from Canada Day party central why not round up the wife and kids on July 1 and go have a blast in downtown Ottawa.

Their circular flight path around Parliament Hill goes right over my house so they buzz us several times around noon-hour on July 1 if we are there.
