There's a doughnut place on Granville Island in Vancouver. It's been there since the market first opened in 1979. Wonderful doughnuts. My favourite is their Apple Fritter. Huge ! Not for the faint of heart.

I've been on Granville within the last few years and never saw that place....DANG!
Their one outlet didnt last long here in Montreal , i guess their philosophy of if sweet is good a whole lot more sweet must be better didnt work.
They haven't taken off in Vancouver either. There's only one location out in the deepest darkest burbs, in Delta.
It's the only location in all of B.C.
I remember when they were just entering the market here and someone brought in a box of them to work.
Almost everyone agreed that they were way, way too sweet. I've never had the urge for one after that.
