My Wife has been working for Elections Canada at the local advance poll here in our neighbourhood in Toronto. She says that the number of people who are voting in the advance poll is much larger than in previous years, and that the increased number of younger voters has been noticeable.

I think that this election will result in a Conservative minority. The NDP and the Liberals will cause a split vote, that the CPC will exploit. The Greens are a non starter for most voters, and the Bloc are a non-entity for voters outside of Quebec.

Yes, this Monday I actually had to wait in line for 15 minutes to vote in advance. There was a long line behind me when I finished.
