How about FROIDISM ?

As one who loves autumn, I'm not enticed by 92F. I love the smell in the air, the fall colours, the change of diet etc.

That's not to say, I don't mind a little mid-winter holiday somewhere warmer, but not every year.

This year we are renting a cabin. Fireplace, hot tub, BBQ, on an island, near the beach.
I'm hoping or hard rain and wind storms.

Just make sure you wear sunblock smarta** lol... A sunburn is a reflection of DNA damage in the skin and can lead to more serious consequences as you get older

The year-round heat is nice when one considers one can go swimming pretty much anytime... That's about where it ends. There is nothing like a mild spring (April-May) in Montreal and Toronto. That type of climate doesn't exist down here, and it's certainly missed. As are "White Christmases," even though they were rare. You could always count on at least one batch of snowfall either before or after. As long as we weren't down into the negative double-digits, the cold was very tolerable.

I love February. It's when the daffodils are up, and the Magnolia trees bloom.
