You're Canadian so you did well. But my IQ is down around 79. Keep that in mind.

Which of the several statements do you find hard to believe? That you're a Canadian, or that you did well for a Canadian?

When was this? Petawawa is a Canadian army base NW of Ottawa.

Could be wrong but never heard of an uprising there.

Confusing it with Ipperwash perhaps? the Dudley George killing by the OPP at the "behest" of that idiot Mike Harris.

It used to be called Camp Ipperwash when it was expropriated for army training use during WWII.

Ipperwash and the Killing of Dudley George

I just don't know much about Canada. Rick Mercer so told me.
I really do wish they wouldn't omit all the people who gave right answers.
I would relish the opportunity to be interviewed by Rick. I would play along with him and then make mincemeat of him.

Specifically, I would ask him how many MP's PEI had sitting at the time of confederation, in 1867. Hint, PEI actually joined later even though the organizational meeting was held in Charlottetown. Or I would ask him to name CDN PM's in order. I personally can only do it for Wilfred Laurier on.
You know, he seems like a smart cookie regarding Canadian politics, but it's hard to say whether it's him, or his writers.

Either way, it'd be entertaining to watch.
Hint, if he had interviewed me he wouldn't have used the footage. If I was counter-recording it would have been a very different story.

After watching the Mapleleafs get demolished for the 2006-7 season on April 8 or 9, 2007 at a hotel bar in Niagara Falls, a Canadian who obviously had one too many challenged me to ask him "any question about American history I wanted" since he "knew more American history than I did." I cautioned him not to take the bet (for a round of beers) since I had graduated Cornell as a History major. He did anyway.

I asked him "which two U.S. elections were decided in the House (of Representatives) rather than the normal way"? He said "wasn't one of them the Bull Moose, (Ted) Roosevelt election"? I explained "that election was more like Canada's 1993 election when the Tories were beaten by two minor parties." He said "I give up. You know more Canadian history than I know American history." He bought the round of beers.
