Oh crap! Let's not get ahead of our selves here. I'd hate to think in four years the liberal majority tanking the economy with the crack mayor's brother waiting in the wings. What a hot mess!
I kid. I'm quite happy for Canada today. It's nice to see a fresh new face.
And where was Natnasci celebrating last night? How's your hangover?
Ha, ha. Actually I was at a local pub for a bit. I was there with an old friend who is uber political and lots of fun.
His political leanings are the same as mine. Both voted Liberal.
We were there, with another friend, who leans Conservative. Lots of laughs watching the Blue Jays on some screens ( Yelling " BLUE " when appropriate ) and the election coverage on others ( yelling "RED" when appropriate ).
Our Conservative friend admitted defeat early on, and we all left after just a few, friendships intact LOL.
I couldn't stay long as I had to head out to my mum's today and do some stuff.
Well, one thing is for sure: we've got the best looking first couple in the world. lol
Honestly, I'm so glad Quebec has chosen to come back to the family. Maybe Trudeau is the guy to bring us back together.
Worked real well for triggering the FLQ crisis and the 1980 referendum. And I forgot Bill 101, I think the education bill, and the bill relating to signs in 1977.
Man your election was just like the US 2008 election, where Harper is Canada's Bush and Trudeau is Canada's Obama. Young liberal candidate replaces older conservative candidate in landslide victory.
