Whatever happened to one of the frequent posters here?

Hi.

Weltschmerz is a member of another board where I sometimes post. I let her know she was being asked about. She said she had seen the posts but couldn't answer herself. She asked me to pass on the following message:

"I was banned for suggesting someone in the Food Forum why he didn't learn to cook. The poster in question was complaining about all the additives and preservatives in ready to eat food. The mod said that was exceptionally rude and banned me for life. (!)
If you would be kind enough to tell them that, I would really appreciate it."

I follow too many boards to remember which do and which don't allow mentioning of other sites. If this is inappropriate, please feel free to delete it. Weltschmerz is active at Your Money and More on Proboards.

Thanks for the update on our friend Weltschmerz, I'd like to comment on the action taken against Weltschmerz but questioning a mods actions on this forum is against the rules.

It's a good job that it's impossible for arbitrary, or decisions made with a personal bias, to take place on these boards.......... as i'm sure everyone on here would agree.

Absolutely! Having such great rules that don't reduce the numbers of high quality posters on this site is an important part of why I consistently post here. I haven't been tempted to drift away from this board because of some of its rules to other sites one bit.
