Hi, i have some serious question regarding work injury in canada. Sorry if am asking at the wrong place =P

well, the thing is.. about half years ago i get struck in the eye at work place, at first everything is cool and it seem nothing serious.. well..recently i have suffer from severe sight lost. so.. i visit an eye doctor who told me it was that accident at work causing nerve damage in my left eye..

just wondering if its too late to do anything about it.. was hoping the company could cover up some of my medical fee..thanks =)

p.s. the normal lens are cover by ohip, but the better ones are not...

Each on the job injury should be reported, even if it is just in the first aid book. Without that how do you prove you were injured at work?

If you didn't report the injury when it happened and your employers don't have a record of it and you didn't get medical attention for it at the time it happened then there's no proof it actually happened or that it occurred where you say it did. If that's what happened then yes it's too late for you to get any additional coverage or other assistance from your employers.
