As long as they're vetted properly, why not?

Worst case scenario, I seen with my very own eyes of these immigrants of how easily things are being handed to them, I seen a Syrian family who were donated a nice big home somewhere in Richmond Hill, its awful I agree, all our resources are handed to them like non-stop, But I do feel sorry for these immigrants at the same time since they did earn the chance of coming here and they have no place else to go with their own country currently destructed and shredded into pieces as their leader Bashar Al-Assad fled them out.

I do agree that Canada is accepting immigrants way too rampantly and a little too much but let them come here and live.

It's important to keep in mind these kids just left a war zone, It important to be compassionate though that's easier said than done if your kid was on the recieving end of slap or getting choked.

How are you going to vet people who have no papers, no identity and have maybe a cellphone, some weaponry and the clothes on their backs?

The same way the TSA knows I've only got one pair of socks in my luggage, what I had for breakfast on Oct 17th 1967 and that metal detector and X-ray machine at every single airport allowing them on a plane does.

Now how does one go about assigning a greater threat ratio to those refugees than someone from a country that sees their citizens killing each other at a rate of 36 persons per day, does not secure it's OTHER border to the result of perhaps 20 million illegal aliens having entered and committed horrendous crimes on your population over many decades of this intransigence?

Now which group of folks should we worry more about crossing our borders?

My point is simply this; there has been much fuss made by "some" about Canada allowing refugees and much of that comes from south of the border, while at the same time those same people have ignored another threat far more dangerous to them.

Calls for additional security on the border between the U.S. and Canada due to Canada's refugee decision are just asinine when one considers Canada or Canadians have never called for additional security due to fears emanating out of the U.S. ALLOWING entry of millions of felons who have proven and demonstrated their propensity to commit violent crimes upon your citizens at a greater rate than any terrorist could have hoped for.

It's all about whose perspective it is. Personally; I'm not losing any sleep over either situation and you might be losing sleep over the wrong one.
