I read that members of House of Commons are term limited. How about the Legislative Assemblys?

He is talking about Provincial politics. The Legislative Assembly is elected and of course has terms.

Here is info on B.C. Parliament

But you can be elected an unlimited number of times. Term limits usually refers to only being allowed to run a limited number of times.

Exactly. You can get elected PM or MP for 30 years or more if the people want to vote for you.

Not like the US president who is limited to two four year terms.

Or the president of France who is limited to two five year terms. Although in France if you take a break, you can come back for two more five year terms. As Nicolas Sarkozy may try to do.

Correct. No Parliament (federal or provincial) can continue for more than five years, as per the Constitution, before an election must be held. However, nothing precludes a party from holding power for years, if the people re-elect them.

Don't know before Ernest Manning, but between Manning and Lougheed you have from the 30's to the 90's about locked up. Add a decade for Ralph, then a procession of idiots after that.

Does staying in Parliament a long time give you seniority and thus the ability to bring "pork" to your riding?
