I had an old Canada travel magazine type thing around once and I'm looking for new ones, but strangely have trouble finding them online. Do they have general Canada ones anywhere or is it just by province?...

I cant believe out of all those links you cant access some Canadian travel brochures.
Go online to each province you plan on visiting and order their travel guide. For example heres one for Quebec-
Official tourism brochures, guide. Centre of Quebec brochures

The link provided has LOTS of ways to get brochures. If you can't find anything with that link, I don't know what to tell you.

Canada is not discouraging tourism travel. Why would a country discourage one of their main industries?

What are you talking about? Elections in other countries don't cause Canada's government to allow an increase in immigrants.

There are not going to be any immigration increases happening in Canada due to any elections anywhere and there is absolutely no reason for Canada to discourage travellers from visiting Canada. As Nat said, tourism is one of Canada's biggest industries so to think that tourism would be discouraged is ludicrous.

That's the thing,I was looking for an overall brochure not just by province. But I guess I'll have to now. There is a Canadian magazine but I'm more into travel brochures than flowery magazines.

Most people probably just do their research online. I don't remember the last time I read like a real paper travel brochure. I haven't heard the word brochure in over 10 years to be honest lol..

Anyway - i'm sure if you email or contact destination Canada they will mail you a brochure. Tourism is not being discouraged due to immigration policy.
