Oh yeah, I read the Windsor Star every few days, so I'm well aware of this. We'll likely be buying a house around October or so. We're still in Korea, so can't really do much from here besides maybe getting preapproved for a loan. But I'm waiting on my severance pay and other money to put toward a down payment for a house before we can do much of anything.

Even at 15% price increase from last year, a lot of the houses are still going for a good price (compared to a lot of other places)
