Personally I have never heard one refer to Ontario or Quebec as Central Canada. If the government website say so then it is. Some one needs to fix this wikipedia page.

Yes I am aware of that.

Yes I am aware of that.
That's the issue with wiki, it can be incorrect.

In school we were taught that Central Canada was Ontario and Quebec. I went to school here in B.C. Of course it's not the geographical centre of Canada. Also with being in BC eastern Canada is well....pretty much everything

Well the fact that you said this:

A century ago means 1916 give or take, okay. I wrongly assumed the US was that other country. No need to shout about it.

Well, CDN's can be nasty, their passive aggressiveness is what makes them polite but they absolutely aren't nice.

Default there is a difference between Canucks and French Canadians

Every French Canadian I ever met up to the last one I've found extremely nice, in fact the nicest people I ever met. I would be somewhat more reserved concerning the Anglo Canadians: while I met a sweet Nova Scotia family, my neighbours in a vacation rental in Tulum (Mex), I once met an extremely unpleasant Canadian woman who threatened me of physical retaliation only because I had asked her (politely) for a date.
