I've seen this in Ganges, on Salt Spring Island, here in BC.

A doe and two of her fawns crossing the road at the crosswalk. It just puts a smile on your face.

I think getting a newly appointed Supreme Court Judge is noteworthy and newsworthy. Not controversial at all, at least to those who understand how our system works.

I did see on other Social Media and Media outlet comments, some very odd reactions to it, but those folks seem to be ill informed.

The bump was to bring up some Canadian news to the top again. Can't have people thinking NOTHING ever happens here
