What are the equivalent of these US cities here in Canada?
Note: you can choose the same Canadian city for different US cities...
Equivalency is not just based on what the city looks like but also on culture, vibe, people, demographics, etc. For example, Boston is known for its medical universities and hospitals. Which Canadian city would be similar in that regard? (I have no idea?)

Halifax NS is much smaller than Boston, but they have their similarities. Seattle and Vancouver have some similarities but all other cities really have no equivalent here, specially the cities in warmer climates. Forget about it.
This has been beaten about previously, but Toronto roughly = Chicago in reality, NY in importance to Canada.
Vancouver and Seattle are close geographically, but Seattle is far more developed industry wise, and Vancouver has substantial dose of LA movie magic.
There are no equivalents for the rest.
Although San Diego and Edmonton would be close except for the opposites in geography/climate. Both are smaller cities filled with a larger military presence and douchebro attitude with the exception of some significant cultural events a la ComicCon and Fringe.
This is why Canadian cities are unique. Other than the Toronto to Chicago (and to a lesser extent New York) comparison, there are no other true comparisons. True there are parts of Boston and Philadelphia that can resemble parts of Toronto and Montreal in terms of architecture and planning, Hamilton can be as gritty looking as Buffalo, Vancouver is Pacific Northwest like Seattle, but all of those cities have enough differences to distinguish themselves from each other.
Let's compare shopping malls (centres), department stores, or supermarkets the next time .

And I agree with Miami having no equivalence in Canada. Maybe Wassaga by a long stretch?
Dallas seems more like a subtropical Winnipeg to me... at least geographically.
Dallas is way too big, The Peg is more like Omaha North
