Is Desmaires dead? If he is doesn't Power Corp. have other people that quickly get to a party leader or PM?

See that is the problem with what they call liberal progressives. It is not about being street wise in a rough world - and if you have not noticed there are a lot of leaders out there if not the majority who laugh at NICE. As for your praise at the globalist antics of the PM and how NICE he is and how NICE the world is going to be under this dweeb with the messiah complex...well - let him go up north and provide clean safe water for the native Canadians...

Let him be nice to our mentally ill homeless I see dying on the street as winter approaches...Let him be NICE to us.

Having dealt with the Supreme Court of Canada regarding domestic law and order....these elites are not interested in Canadian law and order...they are more interested in global law...it is NICE and fancy...Canada is boring to them...all these NICE progressives all want to be NICE and important. The will not make a right decision because they are afraid of being cut from the progressive herd and see as NOT NICE..

Going to be a little nitpicky here....

Trudeau is not Canada's head of state. As Prime Minister, he is only head of government; and like all PMs, he is only that for as long as he has the confidence of Parliament, or an election occurs, whichever happens first. Canada's head of state is the Queen, represented domestically by the Governor-General.

They should, he was a mass murderer, a tyrant and represented everything that your great country does not. Your PM lionized him as did my President, which is despicable on both counts. Castro was an evil piece of garbage who was a stain on humanity. May he rot in hell.

Heads of state are supposed to be leaders, not squishy wimps.

Obviously I know that, even though otherwise I know little or nothing about Canada. But as a practical matter most Americans think of Canada's public face and leader as being their PM's, not their GG's.

GG's names are not exactly household words in these parts though I venture to guess that most American know the Canadian PM's as well as American Presidents back to the beginning. Heck, for example I only know of GG's Byng, Vanier, Jean (and I know but forget the names of Jean's predecessor and successor). I know only the names of most of the PM's going back to Laurier and of course know of McDonald, unlike most Americans who would know almost every one.

The problem with Trudeau (or those behind him) that he is a hypocrite, interesting in self enrichment, rather than promoting any kind of values. He promotes gender equality and LBGT issues in Africa, yet at the same time he visits the local mosques and supports Sharia traditions that have nothing to do with Western gender equality values. He embraces Syrian refugees, yet he forgets about huge problems with Canadian aboriginal population. He likes to idolize Chinese or Cuban regimes, yet speaks about democracy and liberty. And what is behind of all of these? Pay for Play parties with chinese billionaires, scandals about moving expenses of his advisors (which is probably a tip of much bigger iceberg), and more things to come.

Actions speak louder than words... The Soviet Union constitution during Stalin's regime was one of the most democratic in history, yet hundreds of thousands were in Gulag camps. Soviet Union was talking about peace and multiculturalism , yet has invaded numerous countries (Finland, Hungary, Czech Slovakia, Afghanistan) and executed the policy of state antisemitism.

Trudeau and his clique are hypocrites and not liberals at all... Their true values are likely close to those of the late Castro.
I don't have the time or inclination or take issue with everything you have said here, but you seem to misunderstand that having "rights" in Canada includes the right to be wrong. There is no contradiction in stating one's position on gender equality and LBGT issues elsewhere, and respecting the right of people to their religion in Canada, even if their religion does not include gender equality - you know, like in the Catholic Church. That's what we call freedom of religion. Gender equality and LBGT issues are secular issues, which, since we have freedom of speech as well in this country, people are certainly allowed to take issue with in their religious institutions. That doesn't change the fact of the legal position of Canada on those secular matters.
