Maybe it's because I'm an idiot (could very well be, I work two jobs and lately I feel like an idiot for how busy I can get), but it's looking like I need to get a job in Ontario before I can apply for provincial nomination for an invite for permanent residency. I have 438 points, which I meet the minimum. I also applied for the job bank like was suggested. If it's extremely hard to get a job when you're not a permanent resident already, how do people do it? I can't afford to go back to school, so going to school is out. Do I have to give up?

EDIT: I applied in the skilled foreign worker category. I don't know if that makes a difference. I am confused by the whole thing.

Well, I'm entry level with an English degree. I have two jobs, one in a library and one as a claims adjuster. Since the claims is my FT job, I applied under that. I applied as a professional. I'm looking for jobs in writing, administration, or office though.
