Not with any country. (Please note that I'm not talking in this instance about the times of the underground railroad when African American slaves were smuggled out of USA and brought to asylum and safety in Canada.)

However, Canada has already hosted and helped many, many stranded American citizens when they were prevented by the American government from being allowed to enter USA. As a matter of fact I believe right now some Canadian homes are hosting American citizens who have been stranded in Canada because of Trump's travel ban.

How many stranded Canadians or Canadian refugees or asylum seekers would America welcome in the event of war?

If and when some other foreign country brings war to either USA or Canada you should come back then and ask us that question about refugees to each other and we can discuss it then.

I believe the Canada forum is an inappropriate place for you to be asking how many American refugees Mexico would take. That question should be asked in the forum for Mexico.

.

I just think the meaning of the term 'refugee' has been butchered completely in the past year. So yes I agree in that context. That might be done intentionally by the media though to hide the fact that lots of economic migrants are coming in to try to take advantage of entitlements and some infiltrated terrorists too.

Some refugees waited 20 years to come to the US and went through an intense screening process.
